Terms of use

Short, because this site is free, has no accounts and takes no payments. Using it means accepting what is below.

What this site is

royalebuff computes Clash Royale deck statistics from public battle logs read through Supercell's official API. It is free to use, it has no accounts, and it sells nothing.

It is run by one person as fan content. It is not a company, not a service you have bought, and not something anyone is on call for.

It is not endorsed by Supercell

This material is unofficial and is not endorsed by Supercell. Clash Royale, its card names and its artwork are Supercell's property, used here under the Fan Content Policy. Card images are re-encoded to the size they are drawn at so that a page of them costs kilobytes rather than tens of megabytes; nothing is redrawn or altered beyond that.

Nothing here is a claim on Supercell's rights, and nothing here speaks for them.

The numbers come with no guarantee

Every figure is a sample, not a census. The site says so on each one by printing the sample size and the confidence interval, and the methodology page sets out what the sample can and cannot support.

So: the statistics may be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. A deck the site calls strong may lose you the next ten games. Decisions you make from these numbers are yours.

It may be slow, broken, or gone

There is no uptime promise. Data collection can stall, and when it does the pages show stale numbers with a warning rather than pretending — the status page says whether the data is current.

Raw battles are deleted after three months by design. Features can change or be removed, and the site can be shut down entirely, without notice.

What is asked of you

  • Do not run bulk or automated collection against this site. There is no public API here, and the underlying battle data is available to anyone directly from Supercell's official API, which is the right place to get it.
  • Do not attempt to break, overload, or work around the limits on the tracker. They exist because every lookup spends a shared API budget that everyone else is using too.
  • Quote the numbers and link to the pages freely — that is what they are for. Ask first before republishing the statistics wholesale as your own dataset.

Player tags

Tracking a tag is observation of public data, not consent. The official API offers no way to prove that a tag belongs to whoever typed it, so anyone can enter any tag — including yours, without you.

If a tag is yours and you want it gone, it will be removed, along with every battle carrying it. Privacy and data removal explains exactly what that deletes and how to ask.

Liability

The site is provided as it is, with no warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, no liability is accepted for any loss arising from using it or from being unable to use it — including decisions made on the strength of a statistic that turned out to be wrong.

Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot be limited by agreement.

Changes

These terms can change. The date at the top says when they last did, and the current version is always the one on this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
